Ocell Negre is a small permaculture farm that recuperates degraded industrial farmland and forest in and around the Parc de Montnegre i el Corredor in Catalonia, Spain. We are blessed to live in a place rich in biodiversity and sun. This allows us to cultivate a wide range of crops in a sustainable manner that does not negatively impact our shared ecosystem. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and offsetting the damaging effects that climate change has in our region.
We use rescue horses and other livestock to help us reduce the risk of forest fires, improve the quality of our land and give each animal a life that is full of companionship and liberty. Our rescue horses are kept in small herds and have complete liberty. Our other livestock is managed in semi liberty with ethical and holistic approaches to animal husbandry.
If you would like to visit our farm and learn about our project, we offer educational tours and permaculture classes. You can contact us through firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about tours and classes.
